He believes that there are the most beautiful hard woods in Philippines, including McArther Ebony, Ibano, Kamagong, Philippine Rose Wood ("Narra" and "Maripaho"), Philippine Tulip Wood, Philippine Amboina, Philippine Burl Wood, Philippine Purple Heart Wood, Philippine Orange Wood and Philippine Cocobolo ("Mulawin").

He often go to the mountain province to buy nice grained wood materials and keeps them in his thermal and moisture controlled stock room for aging and natural drying at least for several years.
